(Lander, Wyo.) – A crew from the Dancers’ Workshop of Jackson is in Lander this week teaching students modern dance, hip-hop and jazz to students in grades K-6 during their P.E. classes. They were brought to Lander by Promoting Arts in Lander Schools with financial support from the Wyoming Arts Council and the Laura Jane Musser Fund.
(Lander, Wyo.) – Yesterday, Lander Middle School held its annual History Day. Gayla Hammer reports that 165 students participated in the local contest. The students that placed in the top five places in each category have qualified for the District History Day contest that will be held at the Fremont County Public Library on Tuesday, February 25th.

(Lander, Wyo.) – The Wyoming State Board of Education has been in Lander Monday and Tuesday this week to discuss a number of topics, but it took a break the sit-down portions of the meeting and toured some of Fremont County School District 1’s facilities.
