This Statement of Privacy applies to county10.com and Kairos Communications, LLC d.b.a County 10 (“County 10”) and its subsidiaries and affiliates and governs data collection and usage from all sources including, but not limited to the county10.com website and its subdomains (“Site”), submission or registration forms, electronic communications and events.

County 10 is a News and Information Site which creates original news, podcast content, and features, while also aggregating community news and user-submitted updates for the people of Fremont County, Wyoming and surrounding area. County 10 also owns radio station properties and shares ways to listen to the stations digitally, while also publishing  content about shows, interviews, and contests that readers may find interesting. County 10 also provides access to view advertising, sponsored content, events, and other information.

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered on our Site, County 10 may collect personally identifiable information, such as, but not limited to your First and Last Name, Mailing Address, E-mail Address, and Phone Number.

If you purchase County 10’s products, services, or contribute monetarily to support County 10, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

County 10 may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as, but not limited to your location, age, and gender.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. County 10 collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested.

County 10 may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products, services, or promotions available from County 10 and its affiliates.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

County 10 does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties (i.e. the County 10 Daily Email subscribes, financial contributors, Account or Membership lists).

County 10 may share the information you have provided in a specific contest, sweepstakes, giveaway, or other promotions with the sponsor of that contest. Such information may include personally identifiable information, including, but not limited to your name, email, and responses to questions. In such cases, your information will only be provided to the sponsor of the contest. In some cases, you may be contacted by the sponsor for marketing purposes.

County 10 may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. County 10 may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. County 10 provides customers the opportunity to engage in numerous contests via our website, radio properties, and at various events. Rules and information on current contests may be viewed on our Contests Page. County 10 uses Upland Software’s Second Street platform, a third-party contesting software, to host many contests on and off the County 10 website. The information you provide to enter a contest is securely stored by Second Street and only available to County 10 and its affiliates and identified sponsors. County 10 provides certain products and services via county10.com for payment. County 10 uses Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processing service to process payments. County 10 does not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Stripe and governed by their privacy policy. Their Privacy Policy may be viewed at https://stripe.com/privacy

County 10 collects information and user submissions using third-party form creation and management software. Our software is Wufoo, a product of SurveyMonkey, Inc. Payments may be processed through Wufoo forms on the County 10 website, in which case your information is still collected through Stripe as described above. County 10 uses a third-party vendor to generate, share and take submissions for our Community Calendar. The company is CitySpark, an event calendar vendor. You must sign up for an account with CitySpark to submit an event directly to the calendar. If you do not wish to sign up for said account, you can email your event details to us at [email protected]. You may also wish to promote various calendar listings, payment for which is taken and processed through CitySpark and not County 10. County 10 may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on County 10or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of County 10; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of County 10, or the public.

Automatically Collected Analytics Information

Analytics information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by County 10. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the County 10 website.

  • County 10 uses Google Analytics. Google tracks and monitors your use of our Site. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.   • County 10 uses third-party ad-serving company Broadstreet to provide advertising on the County 10 website. When you view advertising on County 10, Broadstreet may collect anonymous data such as IP address, device type, and location. This information is used to provide aggregate and anonymous statistics to advertisers to verify the effectiveness of their advertising.   • County 10 uses Google AdSense to deliver some ads on our site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our Service.
