Compassionate Friends candle lighting ceremonies set for December 14th locally

(Fremont County, Wyoming) – The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting unites family and friends around the globe in lighting candles for one hour to honor the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren who left too soon. The Candle Lighting is scheduled for the second Sunday in December. As candles are lit at 7:00 p.m. local time, hundreds of thousands of persons commemorate and honor the memory of all children gone too soon. Families and friends can light candles in small gatherings at home and in community with others at services.

Wyoming Basketball to host New Mexico State Saturday afternoon

(Laramie, Wyo.) – The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team squares off with another NCAA-tournament contender on Saturday when the Cowboys host New Mexico State at 4:30 p.m. MT in the Arena-Auditorium. The Pokes (5-0) after receiving votes in both national polls after playing staunch defense to start the season, while the Aggies (3-3) are seeking a nonconference resume builder in hopes of a fourth-consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament.
