(Wyoming) – When it comes to environmentally-friendly living, it appears Wyoming may have some work to do.
A new study ranks our state as one of the “least green” in the nation.
Metrics in the study included overall air quality, water quality, energy efficiency and more.
Wyoming ranked 45th out of the 50 states. The Equality State also ranked 46th in “climate change contribution” and 41st in “eco-friendly behavior.”
The “greenest” states include Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, and California.
The least green states are West Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Kentucky.
