A hot, dry summer caused numerous fire restrictions and bans to be implemented across Fremont County by multiple agencies.
Today, October 27th, Wind River Agency lifted fire restrictions on the Wind River Reservation. Permits are still required for certain types of burning, and they still encourage taking extra precautions. Their announcement is shared below.

Also, the Bureau of Land Management Wind River Bighorn Basis District, which includes portions of Fremont County, has lifted its fire ban. Click here for the latest fire restrictions from BLM.
