Fremont County School District is located in Riverton, WY. We have 5 elementary schools, one Middle School and one High School. We have programs in Special Services/Special Needs as well as an Alternative High School to help students earn their diplomas.
We are currently looking for Paraprofessionals, Substitute Teachers, Substitute Food Service Workers, Substitute Custodians, Aquatic Center Lifeguards and Swim Instructors.
Paraprofessionals work in the classrooms with our teachers on academic support and behavior support of our students. These are considered full time, insurance benefit eligible positions. Pay starts at $13.28/hr
Substitute Teachers are called to perform the teachers duties when they are not able to due to illness. Substitutes need to be able to follow the lesson plans provided by the teacher(s), manage the classroom towards established behavior expectations, maintain protocols for safety of students. Pay starts at $110/day.
Substitute paraprofessionals: are called when a para is unable to fulfill their duties. They assist the teachers in monitoring students, helping students small groups in academic subjects as directed by the teacher. Pay starts at $13.28/hour.
Substitute Food Service Workers work 8am to 12pm or 1pm and are hired to prepare and serve nutritional breakfasts and lunches to our students; and clean up following those meals. Pay is $13.28/hour.
Substitute Custodians work 4pm to 8pm and are hired to clean and maintain our buildings for the students and staff. Pay is $13.14/hour.
We also need workers at the Riverton Aquatic Center. Lifeguards, desk clerks and swim instructors. Huge variety of days/hours available including evenings and weekends. We will train the selected candidates.
