    April 12th meeting recap of the Fremont County Commissioners

    (Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for their regular meeting yesterday, April 12th. Below is a recap of the meeting.

    Amendment one to the grant award agreement between the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security and Fremont County Emergency Management Agency to receive an additional $5,419.61 for the purchase of mobile and portable radios.

    Resolution No. 2022-10 was approved to appoint a special prosecutor with the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office.

    Resolution No. 2022-11 was approved to appoint a special prosecutor with the Hot Springs County Attorney’s Office.

    The Commissioners proclaimed April 2022 as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month.

    The board approved a notice of award to S&L Industrustrial in the amount of $174,825 for the Fremont County 2022 Delineator Project.

    The board accepted the resignation of Teresa McKee as the Juvenile Treatment Court Judge, effective May 31st, 2022.

    The board approved a letter of support to accompany the Riverton Fire Protection District’s Federal Mineral Royalty Capital Construction Account Grant application for a match amount of $425,000 for the replacement of a combination pumper/tanker fire apparatus.

    Resolution No. 2022-09 was approved “FY 2021-2022 Budget Amendment No. 6” for unanticipated revenues.

    The board also heard monthly/quarterly updates from Sheriff Ryan Lee and Deputy Coroner Erin Ivie.
