Wyoming’s largest towns rated some of nation’s best spots for singles

When it comes to dating, smaller towns offer a variety of pros and cons. A new study from WalletHub has ranked America’s larger and medium-sized cities on the Best & Worst cities for singles.

Both Casper and Cheyenne received recognition for singles, mainly because of affordability.

” Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Casper, Wyoming, have the lowest average restaurant-meal cost, $25.00, which is 4.5 times lower than in Cape Coral, Florida, the city with the highest at $112.50.”

Overall, Cheyenne ranked 29th in the country as the best community for singles. They ranked first in economics. Casper finished 68th best, ranking 32nd in economics. Points were deducted for low scores in “Fun & Recreation” and in “Dating Opportunities.”

The best spots for singles in the country are;

  1. Madison, Wisconsin
  2. Atlanta, Georgia
  3. Denver, Colorado
  4. Salt Lake City, Utah
  5. Columbia, South Carolina

And according to the communities the list ranked, the worst are;

  1. Glendale, California
  2. Brownsville, Texas
  3. Pembroke Pines, Florida
  4. Warwick, Rhode Island
