Wind River High School student of the week: Karina Frederick

    Every week, staff at Wind River high school nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of these students! Click here to view all students.

    The Wind River High School Student of the week is Karina Frederick.

    Karina Frederick is the daughter of Rod and Laura Frederick and is currently a senior at Wind River High School. Karina has participated in volleyball, basketball, and student council throughout high school. Some of her achievements include lettering all four years in both volleyball and basketball, and she was All Conference in volleyball her sophomore year. Outside of school, Karina also plays AAU Volleyball and in several basketball tournaments. Nominating staff comment that Karina, “is very involved in sports. She is taking several harder classes like Spanish II. Karina is a true leader among her peers and a great student”. After high school, she hopes to attend school to either pursue cosmetology or a career in the medical field. Best of luck on your upcoming adventures!
