(Fremont County, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners will hold a special meeting next Tuesday, May 25th, to discuss an official proposal for a Fremont County ambulance service.
The Priority Ambulance group has submitted a bid to become the new ambulance provider after Fremont County’s last service American Medical Response (AMR), opted to not renew their contract.
The ongoing situation has been a cause of concern for many, including municipality/town leaders, as well the emergency responders themselves, and this proposal is the first step toward a resolution.
According to Priority Ambulances website:
“Priority Ambulance is a dynamic, rapidly growing company with current operations in 13 states. The company has been listed for three consecutive years on the Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America. Since the company started in 2014, Priority Ambulance has expanded through new business wins, acquisitions and de novo startups. Priority Ambulance is well-capitalized and supported by Enhanced Healthcare Partners, a private equity firm focused exclusively on investing in the health care industry.”
County 10 will provide more coverage of the special meeting and proposal as it becomes available.
