(Riverton, WY) – It was recently reported that the Fremont County Attorney’s Office announced it was in the process of charging four county residents with various felony charges for the January 4, 2019 murders of Jocelyn Watt and Rudy Perez.
Patrick Sun Rhodes Jr. and Bryce Teran have each been charged with two counts of felony murder, and Korbin Headley has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary, according to Fremont County Attorney Patrick LeBrun.
A fourth party is also facing charges, but their name has yet to be released.
A felony murder occurs when there is “intent to commit the underlying felony (the “predicate felony”), and that “someone died as a result of the felony.”
The investigation has been ongoing since January of 2019, after the bodies of Watt and Perez were discovered inside of a house in the 1100 block of East Main Street in Riverton, with community assistance being sought as recently as January of 2021.
Court dates have yet to be released for the charged parties, but County 10 will continue to provide coverage of the cases as it becomes available.
