The Lander Police Department shared today, May 14th, they will start conducting VIN checks again.
Below is their announcement and the procedure for VIN checks:
With the easing of certain public health restrictions, the Lander Police Department will start conducting V.I.N. checks again. We ask that if you come to the Lander Police Department, please call 307-332-3131 when you arrive to let the dispatcher know you are in our parking lot. We will then have an officer or clerk respond and conduct the V.I.N. check. We will still be wearing masks during these checks. Thank you for your patience over the past two months with the reduction of this service. We are glad we are able to start providing it again.
