    Reports to: Business Manager

    An esthetician focuses primarily on a client’s skin by performing facials, skin treatments, manicure, pedicure, and massage. Our Spa Esthetician is an integral part of the team and will be part of morning huddles and team meetings. The Spa Esthetician should have a friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing personality that elicits positive interactions with patients/clients as well as coworkers. Spa Estheticians should be self-motivated and consistently seek out continuing education opportunities to enhance current services and skill sets.

    Qualifications

    • Current Esthetician License from Wyoming Board of Cosmetology
    • Successful completion of a licensed esthetics program
    • Extensive knowledge of skincare techniques
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a talent for making people feel comfortable and better about themselves
    • Strong time management abilities

    Patient Management Responsibilities

    • Spa Esthetician is responsible for creating a welcoming, and comforting, experience for dental patients, including but not limited to:
    • Offering complimentary services
    • Beverages and/or Snacks
    • Warm Blankets
    • Paraffin Hand Wax Treatments
    • Offering to schedule additional Spa services
    • Researching new ideas/ways to create comfort within the dental practice
    • Washing, drying, folding towels, blankets, etc.
    • Escorting clients/patients to and from waiting area to operatories as well as Spa Treatment room
    • Evaluating a client’s skin condition and offering recommendations for treatments
    • Performing facials which include exfoliation, masks, and other skin refinements
    • Recommending essential skincare products to customers, including lotions, facial washes and moisturizers

    Treatment Room Responsibilities

    • Proper maintenance and sterilization of Spa instruments and equipment based on State of Wyoming Cosmetology Regulations
    • Disinfect Spa according to OSHA regulations and standards
    • Check to ensure that all equipment is ready for the day
    • Check to ensure that all materials and product are stocked
    • Monitor inventory and assist in the ordering of supplies/products as needed
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Spa

    Records Management

    Ensure that proper notes are taken for each client and recorded in Denticon progress notes.
    Ensure that facial intake forms are complete and accurate before each visit.

    Dental Office Participation

    • Be an active participant in morning huddles, team meetings, as well as community engagement activities/opportunities
    • Promote team concept by interacting positively with others in the office
    • Be willing to offer help and be proactive in filling areas of need in the office
    • Communicate clearly with all staff in regards to absence
    • Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor

    Terms of Employment 

    Full Time At Will Employment, 32+ hours per week

    Starting Wage: $15.00-$18.00 per hour DOE

    90 Day Probationary Period
