    3 Wyoming Indian High School Coaches named ‘Coach of the Year’

    Wyoming Coaches’ Association (WCA) Past President Mike Lashley is currently on a road trip around Wyoming hand-delivering Coach of the Year awards. The WCA’s annual Hall of Fame Banquet is not able to happen this year due to COVID-19.

    Mike made his appearance in Fremont County last night, June 30th, to recognize seven local coaches from three school districts. He stopped by Lander Valley High School first, followed by Wyoming Indian High School (WIHS) where he recognized Aleta Moss, Craig Ferris, and Julie Her Many Horses.

    Julie Her Many Horses is the WIHS Girls’ Cross-Country Head Coach. She received the traditional ring her very first COTY from WAC last night for her work this past fall.

    Aleta Moss is WIHS Girls’ Basketball Head Coach. She received her COTY plaque last night for her work this past winter.

    Craig Ferris is the WIHS Boys’ Basketball Head Coach. He received his COTY plaque last night for his work this past winter.

    The last stop on Mike’s Fremont County tour was Riverton High School.
