    Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, school district release joint statement after teacher investigated for alleged misconduct

    (Pinedale, WY) – Sublette County School District #1 (SCSD #1) and the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) have issued the following press release in regards to the investigation of an SCSD #1 employee for reported misconduct, which resulted in administrative leave.

    “On Monday, April 11th, 2022, SCSD1 Superintendent, Shannon Harris, and SCSO School Resource Officers, Lyndy Guenther and Ryan Day, received a voicemail message from an unidentified male caller alleging misconduct by an SCSD1 employee.

    “After contact was made with the caller, that individual sent an e-mail which included a video of the SCSD1 employee in question. The SCSD1 employee was immediately placed on administrative leave pending a complete investigation.

    “On Thursday, April 14th, 2022, Sublette County School District 1 Board Members voted to dismiss SCSD1 employee David Shaw.

    “As the alleged misconduct occurred in another jurisdiction, the San Diego Police Department is investigating the allegations.”
