(South Pass City, WY) – Most of South Pass City State Historic Site and The Friends of South Pass annual events were canceled last year. That’s not the case this year though! Today, April 28, they announced the return of their signature events.
SPC’s 2021 season will be from May 8 to September 9 and will feature events and activities for all ages.
The first event of the season is a nature walk along Willow and Hermit Creeks in June. Followed by a weekend of fun in July – Gold Rush Days with vintage baseball, gold panning, and anvil blasting. Rounding out July is Casper’s Backwards Distillery event, Paint the Town Red: Historic Cocktails in a Historic Saloon.
The South Pass City History Hunt, a scavenger hunt like no other, is back again in August. Finally, SPC will host Run the Red: A Race for Open Space in September.
