The Lander girls 7th grade basketball team wrapped up an undefeated season today, December 12th defeating Cody and Powell in a season-ending Quad format, their head coach Steve Simpson shared with County 10.
As a result of their undefeated season, the 7th grade Lady Tigers are the Bighorn Basin Conference Champions.
They ran the table this year going 14-0 and averaging 40 points a game with the support of their coaches Simpson and Mike Ragan this season.
“The girls are resilient, driven, and play with a blue collar mentality,” Simpson said. Stressing that “they got better every week and never took anything for granted.”
