The Lander Police Department (LPD) shared today, March 17th, that new LPD Officer Heather Beddoes was sworn in yesterday by Lander Municipal Court Judge Teresa Mckee.
“Officer Beddoes has the dedication and drive to serve and protect our Lander community,” LPD shared in their announcement.
Before joining LPD, she served as a certified Detention Deputy and Court Security Deputy at the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office since 2014. Her long-term career goal is to be an Investigator, specializing in homicide.
She will begin her intricate FTO training and will attend the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in April.
She enjoys hunting, archery and spending quality time with her family.
