Meet Frankie, Sublette County Sheriff’s Office newest K-9 officer!

(Pinedale, WY) – On Tuesday March 29, Sublette County Sheriff’s Office added its newest four-legged officer to the unit. Frankie, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois from Mexico, is trained to detect illegal narcotics.

Her handler will be Deputy Krystal Mansur, who has been training with her for the past few weeks.

Thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Frankie was also gifted with a bullet and stab protective vest, a U.S. made and potentially lifesaving body armor for four-legged K9 officers.
