(Riverton, WY) – Firefighters from around the state gather in Riverton each winter for Mid-Winter Fire School. The educational weekend provides classroom and hands-on learning opportunities for the firefighters. From hazmat training to machine operation to personal safety, instructors guide the attendees through a variety of scenarios to ensure public safety and up-to-date training. Mid-Winter Fire School runs Friday through Sunday this year.
