(Wind River Range, WY) – The International Game Fish Association (IGFA) announced on Twitter Saturday that 4-year-old Caroline May Evans could potentially set their Female Smallfry Record for the species after catching a 2 lb golden trout.
According to the pending application in IGFA, the fish was caught in the Wind River Mountains on July 8th, 2021.
Huan Zhou also has a pending application for golden trout from the same day and also in the Winds. The weight of their catch is listed as 1 lb 13 oz.
