Under the direction of the Assistant Supervisor, Program Manager, Crew Chief, or Lead Spray Technician the position exercises considerable discretion and responsibility towards the implementation of effective programs for the control of designated and declared weeds and pests.

The Invasive Species Management Technician position starts at $13/hr. Once the employee successfully completes the commercial pesticide applicator test (we train them prior to test), then the wage adjusts to $14/hr.
Employment opportunities begin in mid-May and can extend into September. Overtime in June and July can be expected, as well as 3 day weekends. We are flexible with beginning and ending employment dates in order to accommodate students attending college. Our typical employment season is June 1st through late August.
