Contango donated to Dubois SAR, Injury Prevention Resources Wednesday

(Fremont County, WY) – Contango Resources donated a total of $2,000 to Dubois Search and Rescue and Injury Prevention Resources on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

These are just two of Contango’s many donations to the Fremont County community this year.

Contango tries to have the greatest impact across the community with their donations and to give back to those who have helped them somehow.

Presenting the checks on behalf of Contango was Elmer Witzel.

IPR operates mainly on grants, so receiving funds like this is extremely helpful for them, according to Executive Director Noel Cooper, who accepted the check on their behalf.

IPR is a 501(C)3 non-profit serving all of Fremont County and surrounding counties. They are “a unique agency that is able to work on prevention, intervention, and upkeep, relevant to roadway safety subjects and community safety.”

County 10 was unable to attend the check presentation in Dubois, so it is not confirmed what the donation will be used for.

Harold Albright accepted the check on behalf of the Dubois Search and Rescue.
