#Activate10: Riverton business raising money for Tough Enough Cancer Fund

Stitches Embroidery in Riverton is helping raise money for local nonprofit Tough Enough Cancer Fund of Fremont County. Operated by Help for Health Hospice in Riverton the fund assists Fremont County residents who are actively receiving cancer treatment with cost of living and travel expenses.

Throughout the month of October, Stitches has highlighted different items weekly in their “Buck Cancer” line which included shirts, a “buy a line” blanket, and koozies. They are giving a portion of those sales to Tough Enough.

They announced today, October 27th, a silent auction basket full of goodies contributed by Adam Trujillo and Wade Crenshaw is up for bidding until Friday, October 30th at 5:00 pm. 100% of the proceeds from the basket will go to the fund.

This year, Tough Enough’s annual fundraiser, since 2008, was canceled due to not having the PRCA Rodeo at the Fremont County Fair. Donations can be made directly to the fund by contacting Help for Health at (307) 856-1206. You can also learn more on their Facebook page.
