    Wolverines begin play at 4A state basketball Friday afternoon

    (Casper, WY) – Riverton High School boys basketball begins their trip to the state 4A championships in Casper Thursday afternoon.

    RHS finished second at the 4A west regional, but will have to go up against one of the top teams in 4A boys basketball, after Sheridan lost a stunner at regionals.

    Riverton and Sheridan match-up at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Casper College.

    If RHS wins, they’ll play again Friday night in the semi-finals at 9:00 p.m. If Riverton loses, they fall into consolation play Saturday at 10:30 from Kelly Walsh High School.

    RHS is 13-8 overall this season while Sheridan is 17-3.
