WATCH: Why do we need a DUI Task Force? And a chance to win a free TV

According to police officer Casey Tadewald with the Riverton Police Department, a DUI task force is necessary because there is a higher level of drunk drivers with higher blood alcohol content during the holidays.

He explains that the people who have only had one or two drinks are also a danger to the road because they think they can “probably make it home.”

During the holidays, officers saturate the roads and conduct more traffic stops to help reduce the number of intoxicated drivers.
