(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Middle School (RMS) 8th grade volleyball team won the conference championship this past weekend, after defeating Cody Middle School in what Coach Michelle Luoma called “very close games.”
The Spartans also defeated Lovell and Thermopolis at the Saturday, October 16th tournament, winning both matches against each team.
The girls went 15-1 for the season.
“If you see these girls tell them congratulations. They worked hard all season,” added Coach Luoma.
The players on this year’s team included: Taelyn Leseberg, Alexis Taylor, Jaylah Griffith, Rosalinda Ramos, Addison Alley, Cilia Mejorado, Mya Noseep, and Breayden Mosebrucker.
