The Riverton Fire Department (RFD) responded to a reported car fire on the 1200 block of 17 Mile Road around 5:45 am today, February 28th.
Upon arrival, the car was unattended and sitting on 17 Mile Road, shared RFD Chief Henri DeClercq. “We were able to extinguish the fire without incident.”
The cause of the fire is not known at this point, Chief DeClercq noted.
County 10 will share an update if more information is released.
