(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton City Council convened Tuesday night, April 6, for their regular meeting.
Among the highlights discussed:
-The resignation of recently re-elected council member Cory Rota and the council vacancy this will leave.
-The adoption of the 2020 National Electric Code (NEC), which covers updates to surge protection, ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection, firemen’s disconnect, and solar power.
-A bid award to Jerry Bornhoft Construction in the amount of $266,994 for improvements to waterlines and fire hydrants on Main Street.
-Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) looking into field conditions and scheduling issues of the Honeycutt Softball Complex, as well as the Sunset and Saban Baseball Complexes.
-An Airport Grant Agreement funded by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act in the amount of $23,000.
