Paws Pet of the Week: Meet Tate

Tate, or Tater Tot, is a 5-month-old mixed breed puppy.

“She came to us as a stray this winter. She has been in a foster to adopt home, but she has become a serious threat to their kitties in the home. They have not been able to break her of chasing them and biting at them. For the safety of all involved, it was best that she be brought back.

She has been crate trained but is still working on potty training. She is still nippy but with some training, that can be brought under control. Mandy Apodaca-Nation with The Spotted Buffalo has donated a dog obedience training certificate for a 5-week class with her to help her and her new owner work on this. Thank you, Mandy!

She has been raised around children and with her training, she will be excellent around kids. She is spayed, microchipped, has had all her puppy vaccinations, including rabies, and been de-wormed.”

Paws for Life Animal League in Riverton’s lobby is now open and the schedule is Tuesday through Friday 12 to 5 pm, Saturday, 10 to 1 pm, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Stop by if you would like to meet Tate, or call 857-6002 to schedule an appointment Tuesday through Saturday. You can also message their Facebook page to set an appointment up for a meet and greet. She would love to see you!
