Barry Cinemas Gem Theatre will premiere the 2021 new release, The Little Things, starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto.
Deke (Denzel Washington), a burnt-out Kern County, CA deputy sheriff teams up with Baxter (Rami Malek), a crack LASD detective, to nab a serial killer. Deke’s nose for the “little things” proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past.
The Gem is also showing the 2021 film, Our Friend. After receiving life-altering news, a couple finds unexpected support from their best friend, who puts his own life on hold and moves into their family home, bringing an impact much greater and more profound than anyone could have imagined.
Barry Cinemas has changed its hours and will be closed Monday and Tuesday until further notice. That still leaves plenty of time to catch a great movie on the big screen!
