Motorists stuck, some ticketed on South Pass, WYDOT shares

(Fremont County, WY) – As multiple roads in Fremont County remain closed for March 14, WYDOT has shared that multiple trucks have been stuck on South Pass roads since last night, and a few motorists have been ticketed for not obeying the closure.

The WYDOT District 5 Facebook page shared that the featured photograph in this post was taken earlier today, and that four semi-trucks were stuck overnight on WY-28.

The Facebook post goes on to say that two other vehicles ran the road-closed gate during today’s closure, and they were ticketed by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

The post also says WY-28 roads are scheduled to reopen by this evening.
