Marcy has a PH. D in Secondary Education with an emphasis in mathematics, a Masters degree in Counseling, and a B.A in Spanish Literature. After 40 years of teaching Marcy found time to write. She saw that many of her students could do math, but they didn’t like it. They became blocked with true Math Anxiety. With research and seeing many students pass or fail math, watch some of their career dreams die, and seeing the United States develop all these new curricula to make math better, she wrote her book, Curing Your Math Hiccups, as a way to communicate with students, parents, teachers, counselors and many other professionals as to what people can do in their daily life to help and support the beauty of mathematics.

She is excited to share it and enlighten people and hopefully contribute her efforts, education, and experiences to the future leaders of tomorrow, not only in math but in life.

Call the Lander Library at 332-5194 to sign up, space is limited and social distancing practices will be implemented. Free to attend.
