#LanderBiz: Florist, designer team up for new storefront

#landerbiz, brought to you by the Lander Chamber of Commerce, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

(Lander, WY) – A new one-stop-shop for locally grown flowers and custom-designed stationery officially opened its doors on May 1st. Dandelion Floral and Audie Rose Design have moved in together at 135 South 6th Street.

The new storefront provides enough space for not only both of them to host workshops, but to have retail that includes paintings, specialty candles, books, gardening supplies, and potted plants to name a few. Their current hours are Wednesday through Friday from 1-5 pm – they are also available for appointments and ordering.

This is the first brick-and-mortar location for Audie Rose Designs which was founded in 2018 by artist and designer Audie Cunningham. Previously, her custom-designed stationery which includes items such as journals, wrapping paper, cards, and art prints could be purchased online or by possibly catching her at local art fairs.

She has added to her design offerings in the last few months to include custom and semi-custom wedding stationery suites – i.e., invitations, RSVPs, and day-of. Special event stationery for birthdays, baby showers, and more are also available. In addition to stationary, Audie has some of her paintings on display and available for purchase in the store.

Flower farmer and florist Teresa Tibbets started selling at local farmer’s markets in 2016 and transitioned to full-time in late 2019. She opened Dandelion Floral in a small studio space that was only open on occasion and focused on weddings and events.

Now in the new building, she is excited to be opening up more and providing local flowers for weddings, everyday bouquets, special occasions, birthdays, and more. While the flower growing season is short here, she is excited to have workshops.

Teresa’s first scheduled workshop at the new location is on May 15th and will focus on creating a spring centerpiece. For more information about Dandelion Floral, click here. Check out the Dandelion Floral Facebook page and Instagram for the latest updates as well.

On June 4th, Audie hosts her first workshop as well. She will be teaching terra-cotta pot painting. For more information about Audie Rose Design, click here. Check out Audie Rose Design on Facebook and Instagram as well.
