(Dubois, WY) — The Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest has temporarily closed the Warm Springs Dispersed Site along Forest Service Road 532 by Shoshone National Forest Special Order.

This temporary closure is in place west of Dubois through the end of May for public safety while hazard trees are removed.

“These beetle-killed trees need to be removed before we can safely open the Warm Springs Dispersed Site for the public to enjoy this summer,” said Wind River District Ranger Jeff von Kienast. “Once we safely remove these trees, we will be able to lift the temporary closure order.”
