CWC President to Keynote Lander Community Awards Luncheon

(Lander, WY) – Central Wyoming College President Brad Tyndall will be delivering the keynote address at next Friday’s Lander Chamber of Commerce annual Community Awards Luncheon.

Hosted for more than two decades by the Lander Chamber, the annual event highlights businesses, individuals, and organizations who have made notable contributions to Lander. Awards are given to recognize longevity, beautification, innovation and creativity, community involvement, and contributions over a lifetime. The Lander Ambassadors also recognize one of their members with its Ambassador of the Year award.

Central Wyoming College President Brad Tyndall will be sharing developments being made at CWC’s Lander-based Alpine Science Institute and explaining how the ASI fits into CWC’s broader vision of an agricultural and equine renaissance for Fremont County.

“In addition to celebrating notable contributors to the Lander community, the Community Awards Luncheon also historically has brought in speakers to highlight encouraging developments in Lander, Fremont County, and across the state,” said Lander Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Owen Sweeney. “I get the sense that many folks in Lander don’t know about the neat things CWC is doing right in our own backyard,” said Sweeney. “We want to inform the community and help CWC spread the news about its ASI programs.”
