    County Attorney’s Office in process of charging parties for 2019 Riverton double homicide

    (Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County Attorney’s Office announced today, December 11th, that it is currently in the process of charging four county residents with various felony charges for the January 4, 2019 murders of Jocelyn Watt and Rudy Perez.

    The investigation has been ongoing since January of 2019, after the bodies of Watt and Perez were discovered inside of a house in the 1100 block of East Main Street in Riverton, with community assistance being sought as recently as January of 2021.

    “These charges are the result of countless hours of investigative work by members of the Riverton Police Department, Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, and the FBI,” the release went on to state.

    “At this time, no further information will be released by this Office.”

    Names and exact charges were not released, but County 10 will continue to provide updates on the case as they become available.
