When it comes to the ultimate snack foods, Wyoming’s pick is a little different than most places in the country. Perhaps that’s because we’re a little different – or maybe it’s because we spend a lot of time on the road.
According to a study from Thrillist, Wyoming’s favorite snack item is sunflower seeds.
Only one other state picked sunflower seeds, another place where they road trip a lot – North Dakota.
Montana loves Rice Krispy Treats, Idaho’s into Cliff Bars, South Dakota loves a good Milky Way, Nebraska’s a Fritos state, Utah loves 3 Musketeers, and Colorado’s favorite is Cosmic Brownies (insert your own joke here.)
Oreos, potato chips, Cheez Its, and beef jerky were among the nation’s most popular snack foods.
