    #WhatsHappening: ‘Mission: Joy’ film screening to take place at Trinity Episcopal Church

    (Lander, WY) – The Trinity Episcopal Church in Lander will be premiering a film screening for the whole diocese of the acclaimed documentary ‘Mission: JOY,’ on Saturday, January 28th at 6:00 PM.

    The film is an enlightening 90-minute film built around a 5-day meeting between two of the world’s most respected spiritual leaders – His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu.   

    Born a world apart, both Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, the two men, one an African Christian and the other a Tibetan Buddhist, met together to celebrate their improbable friendship and share their hard-won wisdom about a wide range of issues from love, guilt, and forgiveness to joy, faith, meditation and the afterlife.

    The local screening will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church located at 860 S. 3rd St. in Lander.

    Please arrive before 5:45 PM as the screening will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
