    #WhatsHappening: Children’s Museum reopening celebration, mini garden expo and more in Lander this weekend

    (Lander, WY) – With summer weather kicking in, there definitely isn’t a lack of things to do in Fremont County this weekend.

    In addition to the to the Fremont County Spring Spectacular at the County Fairgrounds, the Cars and Coffee car show in Riverton, the Lander Art District Street Fair, and the Lander/Riverton ‘Kids Hooked on Fishing’ events, there will also be a free celebration for the reopening of the Lander Children’s Museum and a mini garden expo in City Park.

    The Children’s Museum celebration will go from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at 465 Lincoln St. The event is free, but Tony’s Pizza will be there to sell some $2 slices. There will be summer activity stations, a silent auction, prizes and a raffle.

    The mini garden expo will take place in Lander City Park, and go from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The trade show will coincide with the Lander Valley Farmer’s Market opening season event, and concessions will be available for purchase. There will also be live music from the Low Water String Band, in addition to kids activities and wagon rides.
