    WDH shares information on COVID-related deaths

    Thirty-eight coronavirus-related deaths among Wyoming residents who tested positive for COVID-19 were added to the state’s posted total between November 21st and November 25th, according to the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH).

    The most recent update today, December 1st, to the WDH COVID-19 page, says there have been 215 COVID-related deaths in Wyoming. 30 have been Fremont County residents.

    The following information is about those 38 deaths previously included on the WDH website but not described in an earlier announcement from WDH:

    Deaths among Wyoming residents are added to the state’s total based on official death certificate information. If death certificates do not describe COVID-19 as either causing or contributing to a person’s death, those deaths are not included in Wyoming’s count.
