Duke and Don are two draft horses owned by the Jacobs family in Lander. These beauties have been spotted at many events around Lander, including Light up Lander and the July 4th Parade. Now they are preparing for their appearance at the Wyoming State Winter Fair.
Two of the sweetest draft horses you will ever meet! And by meet, I mean up close and personal. Now’s your chance to hitch a ride behind these majestic beasts with Justus in the State Farm Wagon.
Justus will be offering free community rides with Duke and Don pulling the State Farm Wagon at the Wyoming State Winter Fair on Saturday, February 8th from 1-3 pm at the Lander Old Timers Arena during the horse show.
You’ll already be there, you might as well catch a ride. Just look for the bright red State Farm banner and two gigantic horses!
Afterward, Justus will be hot shoeing the two draft horses from 3-5 pm. Watch how he handles these “gentle giants” and maybe learn a thing or two!
