    Riverton High School celebrates class of 2021

    (Riverton, WY) – Riverton High School celebrated 123 graduates Sunday inside Wolverine Gymnasium.

    Graduates entered while the RHS Symphonic Band played. The Arapahoe Eagle Drum group welcomed attendees with the Flag Song and the Honor Song.

    RHS Principal John Griffith credited staff and students for overcoming a challenging year and Fremont County School District #25 Board Chairman Carl Manning thanked those in attendance for their commitment to their graduates.

    Valedictorians Shelby Gray, Anna Hutchinson and Rylan Koehn gave speeches and Mr. Ryan Taylor was the commencement speaker.

    The class flower was the red rose. Class song was John Denver’s “Country Roads.”

    And, the class motto was, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” – Ferris Bueller

    The 2021 graduation restored some “normalcy” to the process at Riverton High School after the 2020 graduation was moved outdoors and graduates lined up in their vehicles, exiting one-by-one to receive their diplomas.
