Over $3,700 raised by Riverton Taco John’s for local nonprofit

(Riverton, WY) – Every holiday season the Riverton Taco John’s selects a local nonprofit for their Nachos Navidad fundraiser. Help for Health is the beneficiary of their most recent fundraiser which raised $3,738.72.

Today, February 5th Riverton Taco John’s General Manager Deb Smith and several staff members presented Help for Health Executive Director Kelly Wicks and Clinical Director Karen Yongue with the check.

Within a 30-day window, for every Nacho Navidad sold, a portion of the sales went toward the fundraiser. In addition, folks had the option to donate to the fundraiser directly with their purchase.

Help for Health not only provides hospice care but also in-home care. Donations like this help cover things such as fuel for traveling that insurance doesn’t cover, she continued.
