Riverton’s Taco John’s raised over $4800 for Paws for Life

Between mid-November and the end of December, the Taco John’s in Riverton raised $4,857.47 for the Paws for Life Animal League through their Nachos Navidad Fundraiser. For every Nachos Navidad sold, portions of the proceeds were donated to Paws for Life, along with the option for consumers to donate to the cause voluntarily.

Today, February 21st, Taco John’s General Manager Deb Smith and Manager Ashly Piper presented the check to Paws for Life Animal League Shelter Manager Gina Gladman, Paws Board President Pamela Canham, and Board Member Lisa Lavoie.

The funds will go toward refilling their “coffers,” Gina shared. They had two dogs in need of significant medical treatment at the end of 2019, and this will help replenish those funds. Gina also noted they do not a fundraiser planned as they did around this time last year, so this money is really appreciated.
