(Lander, WY) – On April 14th, the Lander Community Foundation distributed $33,500 to four essential Lander organizations—Treatment Courts of Fremont County, Almost Home Wyoming, Lander Senior Center, and the First Stop Help Center by way of Chamber Bucks.
To date, LCF has distributed $128,800 in LCF COVID-19 Relief Fund grants to 19 Lander-area organizations. A full list of the recipients can be found on their website.
Deanne Trumble, director of The First Stop Help Center shares, “The generosity and support of our Lander community is incredible. We are so grateful to the Lander Community Foundation and our donors for providing assistance, multiple times, in the last year.”
LCF has expanded the scope of meeting the current needs in the community and allocating these grants to provide much needed help like counseling for youth and adults and COVID-19 testing. The Foundation is dedicated to adapting to these changing needs and making the greatest impact they can.
“Executive Director, Mary Greene adds, “The life-saving impact these funds have had in our community would not be possible without the donors who have given to the LCF COVID-19 Relief Fund. On behalf of Lander, thank you so very much.”
