(Riverton, WY) – Neil Aitken turned 91 years old today, January 23rd. He’s been the Riverton NAPA Auto Parts Store delivery driver for nearly 20 years and is still going strong.
Neil has been a Fremont County resident for 40 years and big game hunting is one thing that keeps him going. He has harvested almost 100 mule deer since 1950; his first harvest was in California.
Other things that keep him going include always moving, hard work, and being lucky, he shared.
He was the first graduating class from Newhall, California’s William S. Hart High School in 1949.
Rick Osborne, owner of the Riverton NAPA, and Neil have worked together for 25 years – they started working at Buggy Bath together.
Neil shared his favorite thing about working at Napa is “working with the people.”
“It’s a good place to work, he continued. “They’re all really nice. It’s fun. It’s really not a job. It’s kind of a family thing really.”
Rick shared Neil is “a very faithful employee” and a “true joy to be around.”
Happy Birthday, Neil! 🎉
