9/7 UPDATE: Roy was NBC News reports that according to Roy’s sister Lakeisha, Roy was returned home safely.
Roy D. Anderson, 37, was last reported to have been seen at the Laramie, Wyoming Regional Airport on August 4, 2020 according to family members.
According to his family, Roy is developmentally disabled.
Roy is a resident of Harker Heights, Texas but often takes bus trips to different areas of the United States to visit family members. Anderson last spoke to his family on August 4th, letting them know he was in Wyoming.
According to NBC News, Roy’s suitcase was left unclaimed at the airport in Laramie and returned to the family.
Roy’s sister told NBC News that the family is increasingly growing more worried because they believe he may be off of the medication that helps with his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder he suffered after serving in the military and fighting in Afghanistan. Anderson is also a diabetic who relies on insulin.
Family members describe Anderson as, “sweet and caring. The kind of person who is always willing to lend a helping hand.”
