Mary Ann McMahon, 81, of Lander, Wyoming went to be with the Lord Jesus on February 17, 2019 in Lander, Wyoming. Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Monday, February 25, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, 339 Sweetwater St, Lander, Wyoming. Visitation will be held at 5pm – 7pm, Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Hudson’s Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Dr., Lander.
Mary Ann was born April 11, 1937 to Carl Ernest Clausen and Beulah Frances Hedeen in Clarkston, Washington. She loved music and was involved in choir in high school, college and every community she lived in. She was active in the Lander Medical Auxiliary, where she helped with blood drives, community fundraisers and the Charity Ball.
She was a founding member of the Lander Swimming Booster Club and was instrumental in the push to build a new swimming pool in Lander. She spent many hours at the pool serving concessions and watching her children compete.
She was active in the First Baptist Church since 1966. She served as a Deaconess and in the Ruth Circle. She served as the choir director for many years, conducting selections for Sunday service as well as many Christmas and Easter programs and contatas. She was regularly found playing the piano and singing hymns at home.
Mary Ann was active in the LVHS Music Booster Club during her kids’ high school years and served on the Lander Library Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her 8 siblings. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Charles McMahon, children: Tom McMahon, daughter-in-law Barbara, Kathy Stocker, son-in-law Leland, Lori Fulton and grandchildren: Shannon Jones, grandson-in-law Brendon, Anne Singleton, grandson-in-law Ben, Joseph McMahon, Daniel McMahon, Nathan McMahon, Ruth Stocker, Alex Ochoa, grandson-in-law Christian, Josiah Stocker, Rosemarie McMahon, Esther Stocker, James Stocker and Sharon McMahon, great grandchildren Addie and Kellen Jones, and her cousin Paul Buttrey,.
