It has been confirmed that at least one employee has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Lander’s Assistant Mayor Rajean Strube-Fossen.

County 10 confirmed with Fremont County Public Health Nurse Manager Becky Parkins that contact tracing is done through local public health officials. Once the state notifies them of a positive COVID-19 test, they contact the positive person and identify those who were within 6′ of the person for over 15 minutes. Public health will then contact those people for further direction.
